Raisin Bread Pudding
2 cups (approx.4 slices) small bread cubes
3 cups milk, scalded
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 t-spoon cinnamon
1/4 t-spoon nutmeg
1/2 cup seedless raisins
pinch salt
3 eggs, well beaten
3 tble spoons melted butter or margarine
1 t-spoon vanilla

Directions

1. Combine bread cubes and scalded milk in buttered 2-quart baking dish;
soak bread for 10 minutes.
2.Combine sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt in small bowl;
stir in eggs, melted butter or margarine and vanilla.
3.Pour raisins and sugar-egg mix over bread cubes and mix well.
4.Bake under moderate temp(350 f) for 1 1/4 hours(75 min)
or until knife inserted in center of pudding comes out clean.
5.Serve warm or cold.
